Coronavirus

At Twence, safety is our first priority. We closely follow all measures as set out by the government and the RIVM. In addition, we ensure the information on this page is as current as possible. Our goal is to guarantee a safe working environment for visitors, contractors, clients, suppliers, and employees.

General Hygiene Measures

We have implemented the following hygiene measures:

  • Always keep a distance of 1.5 metres (5 feet) from others;
  • Don’t shake hands;
  • Avoid touching your face with your hands;
  • Wash your hands frequently for at least 30 seconds;
  • Disinfectants are available everywhere - use them frequently;
  • Cough and sneeze into the inside of your elbow;
  • Use paper tissues.

On-site Measures

Our sites apply specific measures. These may differ depending on the location/installation. The applicable measures will be indicated on site. Generally speaking, the measures below are important for anyone located on the premises.

  • People must always keep a 1.5 metre distance in groups
  • Wearing a safety vest is required outside. Until further notice, this also applies within the yellow lines. This to ensure everyone can walk safely on site (1.5 metres distance).
  • No more than 4 people at the same time are allowed in the reception area.
  • Keep at least 1.5 metres distance at counter services (scales, reception, working permit distribution, loading/unloading, and freight control).
  • When walking through/inside a room, it is mandatory to wear a non-medical face mask.
  • It is mandatory to wear a non-medical face mask in situations where work is carried out during which it is impossible to keep a 1.5 metre distance (such as, for example, lifting an engine out together) within all facilities. If there is already an obligation in effect to wear an FFP3 face mask, this will of course also suffice.
  • Control rooms and approval units are only accessible for authorised (production) personnel.
  • Installations are accessible to authorised personnel only.
  • The signing of documents must be done with your own pen (and without physical contact).
  • Drivers must stay inside their vehicle as much as possible.
  • In the event that the policy of an employer through contractors/suppliers differs, the policies maintained by Twence are considered leading.

Health Issues

  • Always stay at home and have yourself tested at the GGD if you show any of the following symptoms: fever, coughing, shortness of breath, or general symptoms of a cold or flu. If the symptoms are mild, a self-test is sufficient. Is the result of the self-test positive? Make a test appointment with the GGD as soon as possible.
  • If a person has been tested positive for COVID-19, all people in the same household must quarantine. This applies until at least day 5, at which they have to be tested for corona at the GGD. If the test result is negative, they may be released from quarantine.
  • Have you been in close contact with a COVID-19-infected person recently (<1.5 metres and/or longer than 15 minutes)? And is the self-test positive? Then make an appointment with the GGD for a PCR test.
